Che Minh Tung, a young lecturer of Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City, has won the Alltech’s Global Young Scientist Award-2009 for the graduate category.
Tung will be awarded a prize of $10,000 US.
In 2005, Tung received a scholarship for his Ph.D. program from the Project 322 of Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training.
He started his Ph.D. study on August 15, 2005 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA.
The Young Scientist Award program was created by Alltech with the aim of promoting scientific research and developing talent among university students from around the world. The program is also the company’s commitment to science and education. In addition, it provides a unique opportunity for students to communicate with one of the world leaders in the animal feed industry.
